For over three decades, Joshua has engaged in various facets of technology and bi-vocational ministry. Throughout this time, one fundamental driver has always been to leverage technology to advance the Gospel.
As an entrepreneur with 30+ years of experience in enterprise IT, Joshua has previously built three consulting firms focused on enterprise infrastructure and application development for on-premises and cloud environments. Joshua has extensive experience working with global companies on complex distributed workloads.
Technology
Joshua recently spent seven years with Microsoft in various roles, such as a global cloud solutions architect (CSA) and an internal trainer. These roles required Joshua to assist Microsoft’s largest customers with their most advanced application scenarios and train Microsoft’s architects to do the same. Additionally, he developed corporate-wide technical training and has spoken at many of Microsoft’s conferences, with as many as a few hundred professionals in attendance.
Joshua currently holds 35+ Microsoft technical certifications across infrastructure, development, and cloud, and two project management (SCRUM) certifications.
Ministry
As a bi-vocational minister, Joshua has served in diverse roles, including youth pastor, college pastor, and speaker for various church events. Joshua, at one point, spent six years in full-time ministry working with the homeless and other urban audiences. During that time, he traveled throughout the southeast, teaching churches how to share their faith in their everyday lives. Additionally, he has served on staff with ministries such as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. In every capacity, Joshua has sought fresh approaches to encourage growth in the heart of each believer while remaining faithfully aligned with God’s Word.
Joshua is a licensed pastor who leads a home church in the Atlanta, GA, metro area with his wife, Jeannine, and their four children.
